Huw Euron - BassHuw

Huw is a Cardiff born Bass and professional actor. He has starred in numerous television productions over a career spanning 19 years to date, however he is probably most associated with the role of “Darren” in the popular Welsh soap 'Pobol y Cwm’ (BBC Cymru/Wales) for which he won a BAFTA Cymru ‘Best Actor’ award in 2005. 
 
He has also been successful on the music stage and has won several national singing awards including the “Osborne Roberts Memorial Prize" (1999) and the most prestigious Welsh National Eisteddfod Award  “The David Ellis Memorial Prize” (Blue Ribbon Award over 25) in 2010. He participated in the ‘London International Masterclasses' (1998) under the tuition of the world famous tenor Dr. Stuart Burrow and has performed leading roles with Opra Cymru/Wales as Banquo (Macbeth) and Bartolo (Barber of Seville).

He had the honour of performing as a soloist in the UK premiere of 'The Poets of Wales' by Sir Karl Jenkins under the baton of the composer himself in 2012 alongside world renowned singers soprano Rebecca Evans and tenor Dennis O'Neill. 
 
Huw has been a member of Only Men Aloud since 2010 and has enjoyed 
the opportunity to work with some of the finest musical ensembles in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls, arenas and stadiums.
