Only Men Aloud Add Cardiff Date To Their UK Tour.

Classical Brit Award winners Only Men Aloud have announced a Christmas date at St. David’s Hall Cardiff on December 12 in what has become something of a traditional seasonal offering by the famous Welsh vocal group.

In their much anticipated festive show, the Men will perform a whole selection box of music, ranging from traditional Christmas favourites to rock and pop classics – all delivered with their trademark whit, exquisite voices and musical panache.
The announcement comes amidst Only Men Aloud’s current UK tour of 28 dates, and the eight-man line-up stage a special outdoor concert for west Wales fans at Pembroke Castle on July 5. In September they release their new album On The Road, their fifth studio album, produced through PledgeMusic, allowing fans the opportunity to invest in it through sales of exclusives such as gold disks and unique OMA performances.
Only Men Aloud founder and Music Director Tim Rhys Evans said: “OMA is as busy as ever at the moment, but we always look forward to coming back to our Cardiff roots to play a festive show in the lovely St. David’s Hall. We’ll bring another sparkling show along with some added surprises.”
After 13 years and some incredible experiences – from winning BBC’s Last Choir Standing and the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special to scooping a Classical Brit Album of the Year Award and performing to a global TV audience as the Cauldron was lit at the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics, the regenerated Only Men Aloud is in demand with audiences across the country.
Over the years the Wales-based male vocal group has performed a varied repertoire that covers everything from Welsh traditional music and Opera to Tom Jones and Coldplay.
