Following a highly successful UK Christmas tour, the celebrated male vocal ensemble Only Men Aloud announces their Summer 2015 On The Road Tour. Twenty dates across England and Scotland have been added to the 8 Welsh dates announced just before Christmas.
Since winning BBC’s Last Choir Standing in 2008, the Classical Brit award winning Welsh vocal phenomenon have enjoyed huge success selling hundreds of thousands of albums, nine sell out UK Tours, multiple TV appearances and numerous standout live performances including the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
This summer the group will also release their fifth studio album – for this tour the band will perform fan favorites given the unique Only Men Aloud twist such as Mr Blue Sky, Here Come The Sun, Ticket To Ride as well as debuting new material with their trademark vocal harmonies.
Announcing the tour, choir founder and Music Director Tim Rhys Evans said: “We’ve had a great UK tour in the run up to Christmas, and can now concentrate on getting the material together for our next album, songs which we are excited to show off to our great fans in the spring, along with some familiar favourites”.
