This weekend saw Only Men Aloud, the winners of 'Last Choir Standing' travel to the States following a personal invitation from the Welsh Assembly. They will perform as part of the Welsh Week in Washington infront of the first Minister of Wales and the British Ambassador. This is a real honour for Only Men Aloud who are delighted to be representing their county. Only Men Aloud will perform in a number of concerts in Washington and New York as well as several TV and Radio appearances, including CBS, the most popular televison channel in America. The choir's visit has also attracted interest from Hollywood and they have already been offered the incredible opportunity to meet with agents whilst in America, specifically with a view to appearing in arguably the entertainment capital of the world; Las Vegas - Only Vegas Aloud! This is a dream come true for the choir who haven't stopped since winning 'Last Choir Standing'. Their debut album has sold over a quarter of a million copies, they appeared on the Royal Variety Show in-front of royalty, have sold out Cardiff International Arena and are about to embark on a sold out major UK tour in April.
