One of the world’s most sought after voices, Welsh bass-baritone Bryn Terfel, will celebrate his 50th birthday with a special one-off concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

‘I’m thrilled to be celebrating my 50th birthday at the Royal Albert Hall, a venue that has held such rich memories for me throughout my career. This special concert will be a celebration of my favourite music, from Mozart to Sondheim, from Wagner to Rodgers & Hammerstein – and hopefully with a few surprises in between. Please join me and help me celebrate my birthday in style!’

Only Men Aloud

Who are Only Men Aloud?

Only Men Aloud were formed in 2000. The group's aim was to inject some new blood into the Welsh male choir tradition. The group's repertoire is varied and eclectic, from Welsh folksongs and hymns to musicals and opera, from barbershop and swing to pop.

The choir won The BBC's Last Choir Standing in the summer of 2008, and released their debut album shortly afterwards, which went gold in the UK.
