Biography
Robert Garland - Baritone
Rob was born in Northamptonshire and has recently graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He started singing from a young age in County Choirs and as a Chorister at a local church. He continued his love of singing to a national level with the National Youth Choir’s organisation where he now sings with their professional element Laudibus.
Rob is a Lay Clerk at Llandaff Cathedral and recently recorded with the Eric Whitacre Singers. As well as choral work, Rob has a keen interest in Opera most recently performing the role of Figaro with Opera D’draig. In addition to Rob’s work with the Choir he was also recently elected as President of the RWCMD Students’ Union. In what little time he has left away from his music and Presidency, Rob enjoys reading, eating out and fine wine. He is delighted to part of the Choir and is looking forward to joining the boys for his first Christmas Tour!
